Hello,
I have new Saphire 7950 Vapor-X 3GB (850MHZ, boost 950MHZ)

Today I bought Crysis 3, so I used trixx
gpu clock 1100mhz
memory 1450mhz
VDDC 1,2V

And after few minutes of gameplay it alway freeze.
There is some error with AMD catalyst in tray.

I used last 13.2 beta special for crysis 3 as well. Temperature is max 60C. processor Intel 3770K.
Any idea?

Also this settings dont allow me to run new 3D mark test 2 (freeze in loading).
I can use only GPU clock max 1000 mhz for stable run.

whats the question? have you tried increasing the voltage to gain a higher overclock? with a hd7950 you shouldn't need to overclock anyway the extra 100mhz your talking about won't make any difference

Hi, i happened to have the same situation with my crossfire hd7950 rig. I have found the solution. The trick is to start with the core clock. This i learned from one of the nice forum users that answered my question. I ended up using 3d Mark 11 and testing. My final oc is 1150/1350 with power +20% on both my hd 7950's. I tested this oc on battlefield 3 with nog freezes or crashes at all.

Hope this helpes.
