Hello. I have a phenom X6 1055T and Gigabyte 990XA and Hyper 212. It runs all my games just fine so i'm kinda looking for a reason to overclock it. I was just wondering does overclocking without changing voltages increase power consumption?

Also does anyone know if the performance increase from overclocking the phenom X6 even increases FPS in games very much? Thanks.

Yes it does, but not by much, 5-20W load maybe... idk, depends on the OC and motherboard and all that :s
If it increases fps's it depends on your resolution, graphics card and game... :)
