Why cant i access web sites from my favorites list

For some reason I cannot access any web sites that I have saved in my favorites folder. Worked fine last night. System had taken a update this morning from Microsoft. A security up-date had been downloaded and installed. Don't know if that was the cause or not. Going to try finding the update and un-installing it to try.

You can attempt to do a System Restore to before the update was installed and you know the favorites were working.

Does it not load any of the page at all or give you any sort of error message?
