Could be either one based on your description. Best to try the monitor on another system to isolate the problem.

Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2070SB
and
Sony G520P

From my research both in this forum and elsewhere, it appears that these are 2 of the best sub-$1000 21/22" CRTs you can get.

the Mitsubishi 2070 is the newer brighter version of the 2060

I feel bad for you dude... im sorry i can't help

um.. my only advice is to ditch the CRT.. and go with LCD!

This Community is like a Second Family!!

well LCDs still aren't quite as good as CRTs in terms of response time, color representation, multimedia performance and of course cost...

Reply to rqvnia

Only advantage IMHO for the LCD is size and weight. Those big CTRs are heavy.

For reviews try <A HREF="http://www.epinions.com" target="_new">http://www.epinions.com</A> and <A HREF="http://cnet.com" target="_new">http://cnet.com</A> Lots of review sites out there.
