I am looking to get a AMD am2+ mobo that uses DDR2 and supports SLI all that one that i can find are out of stock. would prefer to buy this from a newegg or tiger
Unfortunately, the Nvidia based chipsets you're thinking of didn't stick around for the ride with AM2s, the only AM2+ socket boards with multi-card support you'll find new these days are ATI based.
You may have a local retailer that has different stock you could try, or hunt down a not-new board.
