Hey guys. I am planning on building a computer using a z77 mobo and from what I've read, using the z77 chipset will create a firmware raid. I want to use two SSD drives in a raid 0. I am not sure whether or not I can use that to boot win7 or if I need to buy a raid controller card. If any other information is necessary, please let me know.

Thanks in advance

yes you will be able to. to do that change your sata mode to raid, save and restart. press ctrl+i or ctrl+m when prompted to create the virtual disk. after you have created your raid disk make sure to have it listed second in boot order and your optical should be your first device to boot from the cd and install windows
