My new sabertooth does not detect a drive connected to Sata 1. Either my Corsair SSD or WD2.5TB drive are detected on Sata 2, but neither on Sata 1. Bad MB?

Welcome to Tom's Forum! :)

If the SSD/HDD are located on the Marvell {SATA3} then no they won't be listed in the BIOS {SATA2} listing. Also, I assume that you have the SSD/HDD powered by the PSU.
