Corsair xms2 5400 is it compatible athlon xp 64

hi i still run my old compaq presario desktop it has a athlon xp 3500 64bit processer. i am upgrading the ram modules to corsair 5400s. would they run in my pc considering it is quite old it is a good machine but considering whats out now i think i should just upgrade but in the meantime i am just adding to the 1 i have.

Need to know the motherboard specifications to know for sure. It will be the MB, not the CPU, that determines what RAM can be used.
If you can list the Compaq model number we can probably look up the MB specs online.
