Hi guys,

I recently upgraded my machine. Specs:
Gigabyte GA-770TA-UD3 mobo
8GB RAM
HD 7870
Phenom II x4 955 BE
Spinpoint F3 500GB
Vertex 4 128GB SSD

The SSD is new. I installed windows 7 64x onto it, it's in AHCI (BIOS and Reg), in a SATA 3 port and I still get 5.9 in WEI. The HDD is attached by SATA 3 too, in the same block of ports, not that I think that makes a difference.

I'm thinking though that it might be lumping my HDD into that equation though?

CrystalDiskMark 3.0.1 x64 bench:

Should I ignore WEI? I'll admit that I have no idea if those scores are okay or not, I did it more for your benefit! Don't want to leave you guys uninformed, I'm sure someone will be able to help me.

Thanks

Those results are pretty standard for a 128GB SSD.

You're WEI is lumping the 2 together. If you wanted to see just the SSD, unplug your HDD, run the test. You should get around a 7.7 or 7.8
