Hi,
I have a Nvida 8400GS graphics card (working) PCI e but when i put it into my system it will not boot.

my system spces are as follows:
3.4 Ghz
2 GB RAM
350W PSU
640GB HDD

I have tried to install the drivers but you cannot instal them unless you have the card in place and if i have the card in place the system will not boot. I have tried selecting the PCI e card over the internal one but nothing changes. Also i have tried disconecting fans and other hardware to see if it was more power that it needed ...
Any ideas?

Thanks

What motherboard is it? Could be you need a BIOS update... Could be one of those tricky "128M" motherboards that require the special PCIe card be installed into the upper of 2 PCIe X16 slots, but the card goes into the lower one...

Try to give us the make and model of your components. If you can't find them manually, try using CPU-Z to identify them. Download it here:
