[Nvidia] Graphics driver crashes under windows 7 x64

Hi guys, i have 260m GTX and I'm having a lot of trouble stabilizing the graphics driver. Everytime i turn on the machine, about 1 - 10 mins into normal usage, the graphics driver crashes. and the balloon comes up saying windows has successfully recovered from a graphics crash. I tried to install the newest drivers off the nvidia website, but that didnt fix the problem.
any ideas?
