Okay so I'm cutting grass for money. Making $1400 a month and have money to burn. Always wanted to build my own killer gaming rig. This is what I have and I am very pleased with it. I would really appreciate it if you guys could take a look at it and tell me if I have the most bang for my buck.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: This month

BUDGET RANGE: $800-$1000 After Rebates

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, Watching movies, Surfing the internet

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: OS (using windows 7 64 Bit.... the real copy, with a illegal product number, still getting all the updates. could this mess my new system up or not?)

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.com

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: United States

PARTS PREFERENCES: AMD cpu (must be a phenom BE)

OVERCLOCKING: Yes

CROSSFIRE: Yes in the future. ( I know my current motherboard does not support that so I need your help to swap it out but still stay in the price range.)

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1080

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I really would like to cross fire this system. Also the motherboard that you guys swap out has to be able to unlock the AMD Phenoms 3 and 4 cores.

And here it is.

I would also like to know why the prices of DDR2 ram are so high now, when a year ago they were really low.

i can't see your build because of some problem with andozer and my computer. don;t know so don't ask. the only thing i aggree with for techmo is ram and mobo and hardd drive. with your money get 955 be and a 5850. thats about 160 + 315= 475 and about 500 to get your samsung f3 50 bucks. ram 115 dollars, mobo 125 at the most and a cheap case that works. 23 dollars for your burner and about 40 for your wireless card. oh and 100 for psu. if i did my math right that should come out to about 1000 bucks.

ps don't forget to abuse combos!!!

Same board as tecmo but get a 955 instead

If you want to have a well rounded computer in general get my 955 recommendation. Else get the x3 Rana 2.9 ghz as suggested by Tecmo. All depends how much more you're willing to spend.

And yeah get a dvd drive without a string attached to it. Here's what I use without any problems.
