New Build Woes!

I just got all the parts to my build, put it together no issues. Push power button and nothing. I have a asrock x58 mobo, i7 920, and BFG 550W PSU. Even with that stuff only plugged in, still no luck. PSU clicks then nothing. Any help would be GREAT!

Sounds like power protection by the power supply, it reads a short and won't power up. Breadboard the unit, there may be a standoff touching electronics on bottom of motherboard.
You can test the power supply by disconnecting from mainboard and just hooking to a drive. Make sure to leave just the power swith connections from the front panel to motherboard.

Make sure your RAM is seated properly. If that isn't it, double check your power cables.
