Maybe the topic is triavial but...

So here's the situation:
I have 2 monitors. One bigger and one small.
Small was old and sitted in the corner of the room and i was using the bigger one (newer). The resolution with which i operated on that monitor was 1152x864. That monitor fried...
Now after plugging in the small one ive got black screen beacuse that small one doesnt support higher that 1024x768.

Now my question: how can i change the resolution from the safe mode to one that my old monitor can support?
I'm using XP service pack 3 (yeah, outdated pc and system but aww well)

Delete the display adapter in devices, when you reboot it should be compatible. and allow you to upgrade the resoulution if needed.
