3770K 2 cores, 4 threads?!

Hi,

I have a 3770K.
The CPU only shows 2 cores and 4 threads in CPU-Z and coretemp only picks up 2 cores.
There are 8 cores shown in device manager and 4 cores shown in CPU usage in task manager.
I ran a game and then alt+enter out of the game.
It still was showing two cores and four threads.

How can i fix this problem? I cant even oc the cpu either.

The TASK MANAGER is the one to go by.

You need to boot into your motherboard BIOS and check your settings. It appears that only two cores are enabled.

Please also provide these specs:
1) motherboard model
2) RAM amount and frequency (i.e. DDR3 8GB, 1600MHz)
3) Windows version (i.e. Windows 7 64-bit)

Hi, I had searched the BIOS but I couldn't find any setting relating to it.

My motherboard is a Gigabyte UP5-TH.
I have 16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 1866MHz.
I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
