Reformating a SSD

how do i wipe my SSD drive clean so i can swqap out mobo and cpu and redo windows 7 clean on it ?

You can do that when installing the OS again by selecting a new install which will format the drive!

A few more questions if you dont mind, if i do new install..... it wont leave windows old on the SSD would it ?

2nd would a flash drive work to install drivers for the SATA while installing windows ?

No not if you format the drive! Win 7 comes with adequate SATA drivers.

I tryed to set SATA controller to AHCI and it give a drive not bootble error ? dont i need to hit F6 and install the drivers ? and if so would having them on a USB flash drive work ?

Sorry bios stuff is not my can of worms

When doing the new install go into bios set it up for ACHI then boot up from your WIN media and do the install with out hitting F6!
