IMO you have a pretty nice system, you won`t get an awesome performance increase with a C2Q or C2D e8400 (no need to comment e6700 :D), for now you can read some overclocking guides and get a new CPU cooler (hyper 212+/mugen 2 are the best for the price IMO) if you dont have one.If you want a system upgrade that is worth it, you should wait and see what Bulldozer has to offer, or go Sandy Bridge.
This should be your first stop.
Core2 Overclocking Guide

Next stop should be a guide for your particular motherboard. Google is your friend.

Keep in mind that the G31/G41 chipset is an economy, entry level chipset. Unless you get really lucky, you will not be able to push the FSB freq past about 360 MHz. I have a G'byte G41 board. FSB freq of 352 MHz works. 353 MHz doesn't.

That means that the Q8300 with its 333 MHz FSB freq and low internal multiplier is a poor candidate for overclocking in a G41 motherboard.

Save your money and learn to overclock what you have, especially if your goal is to build the best possible gaming system out of what you already have..

actually the computer is running really good, i really dont lag, and every game ive played has unnoticable to no lag at all, the only game ive every lagged a bit in was crysis, and it only broke the sound for a few seconds, the rest was really good, , runnning it at high settings

and starcraft 2 well, i dont think its as much stress as crysis, but i can run that at full ultra, max on assasins creed too

so does that mean i should change my MB? i could change it, but if i were to do that my total budget is 200, and i would want to keep my ram, so i could pretty much get a processor and mb for that i guess

it seems the only thing that bottlenecking my system is the HD, i got that by looking at the WEI, its on 5.9 while the rest of the system is all at above 6.5

^now thats one smashing chip. They all do 4ghz lol

do you think it would be possible on my crappy mb?XD its the best i got that was ddr 3 and fits in my caseXD hahaha (microATX)
i tried ocing my e6500 on this board but it only went up to 3.12 or something like that, when i got to 3.202, it started getting unstable, so its either my board, or i wasnt doing it properlyXD hahaha

so i guess that means not much of a difference?XD so i should just save cash and get e6800?XD
right now im trying to decide cuz im spreading the parts im swapping out to my brothers system, hehehe..

right now im using this cooler

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118223

few reasons reasons,
1. cuz it looks cool,
2. i cant stuff anything bigger than that in my microatx case(had a hard time getting that in)XD
3. its full copper and it lights up!XD hahaha=^-^+

me no money for sandybridgeXD hahahaha

Hope you were kidding bout this one:D, but i`ll still say it. :D The only difference between your e6500 and the e6800 is that the e6800 is factory clocked at higher speeds, wich you can reach with overclocking. Had to tell you, just in case :D So you should learn how to overclock you CPU. I looked arround in the internet and i saw ppl who clocked it to 4.5 GhZ o_O :D
http://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=112786.0 This should help you, considering your mobo is MSI :)

hahaha i was kidding>>>> kinda, hehehe cuz the e6500 works pretty well, its just that if there really isnt much improvement, ill just save the the money for something else and get another g41m and e6800
so my brother can have the almost the same performance as mine, ( which isnt really all that great) HEHEHe

but i doubt ill be able to clock it that high with this board, 4.5ghz is really, really,,, crazy....XD hahaha

pc#2 specs
seasonic 80+bronze 520w pus
kingston 4gb 1066mhz ram
generic intel g101XXXboard
pentium d 945 3.4 dual-p4 processorXD hahaha
80gb seagate 7200rpm hd
evga geforce 9500 gt gddr2 or 3? 550cc,1400sc,500mc
