APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Next Week BUDGET RANGE: $900 - $1000 After Rebates

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: gaming, surfing the internet, watching movies

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: OS, Keyboard, mouse, speakers, monitor, case, DVD Drive, Hard Drive, PSU - Corsair TX650 (If capable of using)

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Memory Express

PARTS PREFERENCES: Intel processor, otherwise I'm open to suggestions on other parts.

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Yes (eventually)

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1680x1050

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
- I've never overclocked before but would like to give it a try with this build.
- Parts have to come from the site stated as it's a local store and I'm not fond of buying parts online (Do not worry if a part states that it is currently out of stock).
- I have a build it mind, but as I read more and more I cannot fully decide.
- Last of all, I do not know if my PSU will be enough, so should I need to get a better one the cost of it can be added to the budget (eg. PSU costs $150, new budget can be $1150).

Currently, I have in mind for the remaining 4 components:

Spend 400$ on a graphics card
$200 on the cpu
$200 on the mobo
$200 on the RAM

For gaming, your graphics card is WAY more important then you CPU.

I appreciate the input, but unfortunately there's a bit of a problem. I can't use Newegg cause I'm in Canada, and newegg.ca isn't exactly the cheapest place for parts. That's why I wanted people's thoughts from the website I gave, as it is a local store that generally has the best prices.

The i5-750 costs $230 here, the P7H57D-V EVO costs about the same, and the 5870 is about $460-$475. I am about 90% certain that I would prefer to go with the 5850 and just get another one for cheaper once the new Nvidia cards start showing up around here.
