AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600 Brisbane 2.9GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM2
65W Dual-Core Processor
plus Galaxy 9600 GT low profile for ~< 60W
Can i put both of these onto a dell 531s which has a 250 W psu?
i used eXtreme Power supply calculator and got between 210 - 230 W total ( capacitor aging 10%-20%)
I heard Dell PSUs are good ; don't know if it can take this though ;
so can it?

Fraz you can get a really high quality Power Supply 25 bucks at newegg, better to be safe then not have a computer ![:p]( ":p")

dell uses bestec & delta, im guessing bestec for that 250 unit. delluser1 would know
PC P&C used to use seasonic, i believe they switched over to highpower
but their PSU are solid for a mass PC maker and the 250w should be able to handle the x2 5600 & 9600GT low profile
