Cpu + graphics card (9600)2

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600 Brisbane 2.9GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM2
65W Dual-Core Processor

plus Galaxy 9600 GT low profile for ~< 60W


Can i put both of these onto a dell 531s which has a 250 W psu?

i used eXtreme Power supply calculator and got between 210 - 230 W total ( capacitor aging 10%-20%)

I heard Dell PSUs are good ; don't know if it can take this though ;
so can it?

Fraz you can get a really high quality Power Supply 25 bucks at newegg, better to be safe then not have a computer

i wouldnt say thats REALLU HIGH QUALITY more like somewhat ok. it will be better than the stock dell sort of junk

Well in comparison to what is in there its pretty high quality, its obviously not a corsair

also dell do have high quality psu i think pc power & cooling makes it for them(correct me if i'm wrong)
