Here's a full build that would be better for gaming (assuming you need everything):

CPU/HSF: X4 955 and Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus $194
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-790XTA-UD4 $125 after rebate
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 2x2 GB 1600 mhz CAS Latency 7 $120. More than 4 GB is completely unnecessary for gaming. Also, these sticks are faster.
GPU: HD 5970 $700
HDD: Seagate 7200.12 500 GB $55
PSU: Corsair 750W 80+ $90 after rebate
Case: HAF 922 $80 after rebate. The 900 is a good case, but it's a tad too expensive and a little too small.
Optical: Cheap SATA DVD burner $22

Total: $1,386

If that $1,400-$1,500 is only for what you have listed:

CPU/HSF: i5-750 and Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus $230
Mobo/RAM: Asus P7P55D-E Pro and G.Skill Ripjaws 2x2 GB 1600 mhz CAS Latency 7 $295
Case, PSU, and GPU are the same as the above

Total: $1,405
