hello everybody

my current pc is:

MB: GIGABYTE MA-74GM-S2

CPU: AMD ATHLON X2 240 2.8

RAM :2GB DUAL CHANNEL 667 MHZ

and i wanna upgrade to :

MB :MSI 770 -G45
RAM : 4GB Kingston DDR3 bus 1333MHz CL9 DUAL CHANNEL
CPU: AMD ATHLON X2 240 2.8

so is there a huge difference or should i wait ?

No. You'll get a slight performance boost, but that's all. Newegg had a 770 chipset board for only $34.99 recently; 2x2gb of 1333 ddr3 is going for around $40 on sale. If you sell your old board/cpu/ram together and use the money towards an upgrade, I would go for your board/ram choice plus a phenom II, either 4 or 6 core. But sell your old stuff first. If you don't get any good offers, I would keep it. If you're a gamer, check the cpu support section of your old board website and see if it will run a newer phenom II. A new board/ram with your old cpu won't help much. Overclocking might help, but that requires a better heatsink and power supply.
