So I plug a SATA cable in to my motherboard, it clips in and is locked in. I plug a SATA cable into my WD HDD, it goes in, but doesn't clip in and comes out EXTREMELY easily.

My SATA cables came from my Gigabyte motherboard.

I don't understand, what should I do? Is it my SATA cables or is it my HDD? And I heard WD were a good make, however the SATA cable isn't locking in like it does on the motherboard.

that's normal, once your power connector is connected they help hold each other in. If you don't transport your computer around and it stays in one location it won't ever fall out unless you tug a cable. if you bring your computer to LAN parties (etc.) it probably will still not fall out, but if it does its not a big deal just plug it back in.
