hi guys
I have read here and there , and decided I am ready to OC my 2500k .
I did follow the guide of Mrface, and I "have hit the WALL"
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/265056-29-2600k-2500k-overclocking-guide
I got to 4.6ghz ok, but then anything more its just a blue screen (about 3-15 mints of prime95).
So here is my hardware:
i5 2500k
P8z77 Asus
H100
G. SKILL Ripjaws X Series 4x4gb

And settings I am stuck at:
vcore 1.36v (after 1.33v no changes)
bus 100 (did go to 103)
multipier 46
dram 1.6v

Any different combination of bus and multiplier (103x 45 ie) as long as not over 4.6ghz are ok .
My question is :
How do you go higher ?
I'ts like 4.6 its a magic number that was given to Us , but more than that .... ?
Any advice?
my temps are never more than 65C,
I am using CPU-z, Core Temp, Speccy , Intel gadget, Al SuiteII.
Thank you .

Try this GUIDE and see if you have any better luck.

I know it has a different motherboard, just google the terminology if it is different.

Well , the auto OC went to 5.15GHz, and I just stopped it there because it was applying high voltage, and I have never checked the other settings. I figured maybe I can do it myself around 4.9, anyhow , is 4.7 plenty enough? , looks like Iam pretty steady for that , at the moment.
