Sooo, i just got started overclocking my GPU.
It's a NVIDIA GeForce GT 630m 1GB..

I'm running a Acer Aspire 5755g laptop, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

CPU: Intel i5 2450m 2.5 GHz (with Intel Turbo Boost up to 3.1 GHz)

Core Clock (GPU) Standard is: 672 Mhz
Memory Clock (GPU) Standard is: 800 Mhz

Basically, i'm running core clock 840 Mhz and memory clock 940 Mhz..

Temperature when idle is 35-45 degrees and 80-90 at demanding games..

I use a Cooler Master Notepal X3 laptop cooling pad, which kicks down the temp 5-7 degrees..

My game dosen't chrash or anything, i just get dreamly high FPS with this overclock.. Will it hurt my GPU? Will it have a shorter life?

So big question.. Am i overclocking it to much? :)

For peace of mind and to be safe side why dont you do core 800 and memory 900
Im sure this will give even few degree less. Normaly as long yo stay within the upper 80c you should be safe but its best to stay as low as possible. Hope this helps
