Restore to Factory Settings for Windows XP

Hello,
can i restore my pc to factory settings useing the bio or boot menu my windows keep shutting down as soon as it comes up help please

You can but only if there's a Recovery Partition put in by the manufacturers. Look at the first screen with any writing on it for details of which Function key to press for recovery. That will revert the system to factory settings, losing everything you have in there so it's better to sort the problem out another way.

Try restarting and tapping the Function 8 key to see the Advanced Boot menu then select "Disable automatic restart on system failure". That might show you a blue screen with a Stop Error message on it. Post back with the numeric code 0x0000?? and ANY_WORDS_JOINED_UP by underscores.
