G.SKILL 12 GB PC12800 RIPJAWS CAS 9 vs CORSAIR DOMINATOR 6 GB CAS 7

I would like to know if which of these two are the best:

At a first look it seems that the 12GB is the best choice but I'm not really aware of the impact of timings on performance. Also there is a really little price difference.

6GB is plenty for a gaming system.. Go for 12GB if you have a workstation..

I'll recommend the dominators.. Especially if yours is primarily a gaming build..
