Have P7P55D and 5.1 sound system connected to it according to user guide (orange+black+lime)
- when booting to Windows 7 x64, all speakers are working properly
- when booting to Windows XP 32bit, only left+right front speakers are working.

VIA HD Audio Deck is configured for 6 channel,
it correctly displays all (orange+black+lime) jacks as "connected",
but test sound is heard only in left+right front speakers

tried latest driver from http://www.asus.com/Search.aspx?SearchKey=P7P55D with no success.
how to solve it?..

Select the "Speaker Fill" option to get sound from the other speaker. I have this problem in Win 7 64 bit.

I think my problem is from Windows Media Player is only outputting stero signal and i need the Speaker Fill option. If i use the Cyberlink DVD player i get sound out of all speaker without the speaker fill option.

Sorry I don't have english version of VIA HD Audio Deck, could you please explain where you have this option so I could try to locate it?

Don't you mean option which extends stereo sound to 5.1? unfortunately this does not help...
