I order a radeon 9200 to put into a coworkers dimension 5150 running XP and have been having nothing but problems.

Is this card compatible with this system. We have tried to hook the VGA and DVI from the ATI card but we can't configure it to extend the desktop to the 2nd screen. This is driving us nuts as we played with multiple settings.

I was able to install the radeon into my new vostro 220 running windows 7 with no problems! Please help.

the CCC should have a wizard for you to run to get dual monitors running

more info...

when we first start the computer both screens show the XP start-up process. Just before the desktop appears the the screens go blank and the monitor connected to the DVI cable stops working (in fact it flickers with a message that we can't read). The flickers also show the desktop in the backgroud for .5 seconds.

drivers installed and played with various combinations on CCC. Still no luck. Any chance there is a compatibility issue here?
