Hi there... Wassup !

I am a complete noob in this art and i tried to read online tut's and i was able to OC my E7500 from 2.9 to 3.5. Was playing crysis 3 on almost 40FPS on low settings where i was getting only 15-20 before... and then after 10 minutes i got BSOD.

My specs are....
C2D E7500 2.93
Asus p5g41c-m lx
Asus 6670
Just using a simple CPU fan (Temp 50-60 on load)

I also did overclock my GPU through Asus GPU tweat a little bit.... But i totally confused now and i bit afraid of doing it again on my own... I would really appreciate if someone can tell me how to do this..

Thank you so very much :)

If you're getting BSOD, you're pushing it too far. Either increase your cooling or step it back a bit. I'm pretty new to this too, but that's usually the case for me.

This is where we venture into 'I'm not sure' land. My gut says it's getting too hot but maybe a bit more voltage would keep it stable longer. Either way, if you're only making it 10 minutes, you're probably OC'd farther than you're ready for.

I suggest we both read more.
