Tags: Power Supplies Temperature Components Last response: July 6, 2010 10:29 PM in Components Share ricno June 24, 2010 10:16:11 AM Hello, I have recently assembled a new computer. When checking with Speedfan I noticed that "AUX" reports 86 degrees C, which seems to be very hot. The motherboard is a ASUS P7P55D-E LX and the case is Antec P183. My two questions is: 1. What is "aux"? 2. Is there anything wrong or dangerous with the this temperature? More about : aux temperature 86c dangerous Best solution mi1ez a b ) Power supply June 24, 2010 10:50:35 AM 1. We often don't know! 2. It's a mistake, don't worry about it. If it makes you happier download a second temp program like hwmonitor to double check. ricno June 24, 2010 10:57:33 AM Thank you for your reply! mi1ez said:1. We often don't know! The temperature does seems to vary some, between 73C to 85, so I guess it is reading something and not just displaying some random value. What could that be? And what can I do about it? ricno July 6, 2010 10:29:56 PM Best answer selected by ricno. Can't find your answer ? Ask !
