I'm interested in Seagate SV35 (ST3000VX000) 3TB drive to build raid1+0 for Oracle Database with MDADM.

The drive is targeted to video storage but is read/write performance seems good for database as well.

Will it seems to be any issue to use the drive with Oracle Database instead of for video storage?

Note: We cannot used the Seagate Constellation® ES.2, its price is over our budget.
