I was downloading mp3's and using the internet the media player froze and the internet didn't. so when i was done with the internet i thought maybe in i restart it the media player will close but it didn't. so i turned the computer off and left it for a couple of hours. when i came back the computer won't boot in normal or in safe mode.

P.s i don't have a windows xp dise or a working cd drive.

If you look up the manufacturer of your machine there should be a key to press at switch on to take you to a boot menu that you could select recovery options from (if they provide that option).

PS Always (always) create recovery media before its too late!
