Would a 400w Seasonic PSU (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1681...)be enough to power my system and maybe a little overclocking on my 8800GT. I only have my Amd Sempron and HDD and about of 1Gb of ram installed on it. More about : power 8800gt rolli59 a c 709 ) Power supply a c 161 K Overclocking June 24, 2010 10:44:16 PM Yes! The suggested PSU for one is 450W and 28Amps +12V. Both PSUs above meet that +12V suggestion. The Corsair does have 1 6pin PCI-e power connector so you'll only need 1 molex to PCI-e power adapter. m 0 l WR2 a c 139 ) Power supply a b K Overclocking June 24, 2010 10:58:47 PM In your case you'll need two of the molex to PCI-e power adapter for the 8800GTX. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... The Seasonic looks like it might also have 1 6pin PCI-e adapter - its just not listed in the NewEgg specs. m 0 l rolli59 a c 709 ) Power supply a c 161 K Overclocking June 24, 2010 11:09:19 PM The 8800GT is a better match for your Sempron than the 8800GTX which would experience bigger CPU bottleneck. 1Gb ram is low by today's std's so an upgrade to minimum 2Gb would be well worth the money. m 0 l WR2 a c 139 ) Power supply a b K Overclocking June 24, 2010 11:16:03 PM +1 for the 2GB upgrade.
