Hi people!

Well, I was wanting to buy a new computer and, i really need to know if I could use memories with 1600mhz without an overclock. In Asus's site it says something like this: 1333mhz/1600mhz(O.C)/2000mhz(O.C), it means that the motherboard supports 1333mhz in a native way, and it'd only use 1600mhz with overclock?

I don't want to overclock anything, i want to keep it normal.

PS: I would use a Patriot G Series 4GB Kit (2 x 2048MB) DDR3 1600MHz PC3-12800.

  1. You are correct, the memory you insert will run 1333 natively on that board.
