Normal PC use graphic card

Hello,
Recently I put 22inch LCD I am not happy with Disply that why.
I want buy an graphic card for my PC my buget is <100$ and power is main criteria I may go for lowest <20watts @peak ~512MB memory. I hardly play games.
My comp

Processor Pentium D 2.66GHz
Mother board Intel G865GSA
Memory 512GB*2
Disply 22" LCD sync master 2233
DVD drive
160GB hard disk
Power supply 300Watt(not sure)





Suggest one for me

Not a gaming card, but you wont get a gaming card when you have a 250W PSU

^ good choice. I would go with the 5450 or 4550. The 4550 is a last gen model but has pretty much the same performance and power usage. It actually performs slightly better than the 5450, but either is a good choice if all you need is a solid desktop card.

You are too late, the offer was expired by the time.
You have suggested what I had in my mind. But is it suitable for Intel D865GSA MOther board. which has PCI slot only.
some suggest AGP but there are not much choice left.

The card I linked to uses less that 75W and will be fine for your system.

Now I am thinking of Changing the Mother board.Which LGA775 socket will be fine for Pentium D for its full performance Intel
recommends are very few like 945ex,955Xex,975Xex, but there are a lot MB choices for LGA 775 sockets. I idea is buy one which is future-proof.

Suggest me what will be the performance if I go for Any MB with LGA775 sockets ?

One important NOTE THIS MOBO TAKES ONLY AGP card, so saphire HD3850AGP is best at $180, 512MB, 400watts 52GB/s.
Other are HD 3650,HD4650 1Gb,HD4670
Nvidia GF 6800/6600/6200 AGP all 512 Mb
for low power
7600Gs 27 watts 512Mb
7300GS 16watts 512Mb
