I am done messing with the uefi and am ready to install windows. Currently there's only the ssd attached to a sata III port and I was wondering when I install windows and create a partition, do I need to keep 10% of that unallocated? I remember reading that you don't want to bypass a certain amount on those drives to allow them to write and erase or something along those lines.

The SSD is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148448

Solution
No need for partitioning.
Just monitor how much of the space gets used, and plan to do something about it when you are 80% to 90% filled.
