Budget Gaming PC Need Advice

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE:Within the next 2 weeks BUDGET RANGE: 1,000-1,200
SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, Internet, Video Streaming, etc.
PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Monitor, Keyboard, and mouse.
PREFERRED WEBSITE: newegg.com
PARTS PREFERENCES: AMD/Intel CPU, Full tower case, and a good ATI/Nvidia video card.
OVERCLOCKING: Maybe SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Yes(but ill only get one card first)
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Needs to be withing the budget and include a Full tower case for future improvements.

1st config mobo is 16x/4x CF no go
2nd config maybe 16x/16x CF but pump that much into a 700 series AM3 mobo? 890GX out and 890FX/880G/870 incoming April 26th so for me not a good idea

Why not ditch multi GPU and consider this bundle instead? Pump saved funds to a HD 5870 maybe?
