Usb ports not working after clean install of winxp
Hello,I have just formatted and reinstalled winxp on a friends computer. I can't get the USB ports to work. I did install windows Vista and they worked but don't have a product key for it. So went back to win xp. I have the restore disk but it hangs at starting windows, unless I disable the usb ports in the bios, setup will install windows but the USB ports won't work. They are recognized in Device Manager. Can anyone help me?
