HDD Setup Help

Hey guys, I recently built my computer, got everything installed but I didn't partition my HDD to put windows in it. I was just wondering if having this computer as it is right now is good enough or do you guys recommending me reformat > reinstall?

Not sure I follow what you're saying. If you installed an OS to the HDD it is partitioned, most likely with one partition consuming the entire drive. Are you trying to say you wanted multiple partitions?

yeah, i was told that we were meant to create a new partition first then install windows? from what your saying, im assuming and hoping it is fine as it is!

so what i did was, insert windows cd and pretty much clicked next at the hdd part

Yes, Window will create a partition on a drive with none.
