I have amsi 785gm-e51 board with a phenomII x4 925 processor. Have 2 gig of ram at 1333. I check the actual speed of the ram and it is running at 667. Why? and how so i fix that. Ram is ddr3 by the way.
Your memory is running at the appropriate speed. It transmits on the rising and falling side of the clock cycle so while the clock is running at 667MHz it transmits data twice as many times during that second so the data speed is 1333MHz, so the data rate on any DDR is always double the bus clock rate, hence the name DDR(double data rate).
