My motherboard is Aopen MX46LS-V and has 1.8mhz/512cache/400fsb.

The installed 1.8mhz P4 cpu has become faulty. I wish to replace it with the fastest P4 cpu that the motherboard can supports. I've searched the web but cannot find any cpu list for it or the necessary information.

Please advise me the correct part numbers/codes of the P4 processor to buy.

The chipset is Sis 650GX and SIS 962L(South Bridge?) and support only 400fsb. I'm not able to say for sure which cpu is the right one, compatibility wise, without trying them on the mobo.

Ok. Thank you, rolli59. Just for general info, ECS (EliteGroup) is one of the best people to buy from. The company even bothered to make an analysis of the mobo bios earlier this month for me on a mobo P4VXAS2 which I bought in 2002. It took them two days to inform me on the exact cpuids to upgrade and I'm their very grateful customer.
