Memory upgrade: keeping original RAM

I'm looking at a memory upgrade for my computer. The motherboard is an MSI MS-7360 (according to CPU-Z) which is also known as a P35 Neo-F (according to Crucial's upgrade tool). My problem is that CPU-Z tells me the existing RAM (2x1Gb sticks) is in Slots 1 & 3. Does this mean I'd have to move one of them (from slot 3 to slot 2) in order to install the upgrade?
