Hello!,
I plan to build a gaming PC, i already have parts in mind to put into this new computer, and since i'm also also a bit new to the whole PC building scene i was hoping that someone would give me their opinions on the subject, or recommend other parts that are better for the same cost. Here is what i plan to build:

Processor: Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield

Mother Board: ASUS SABERTOOTH 55i LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard

Case: Thermaltake Element G VL10001W2Z Black ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

RAM: Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000) Desktop Memory Model 996829

Harddrive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3500418AS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

Disk drive: ASUS DVD-E818A6T/BLK/B/G Black 18X SATA DVD-ROM Drive - Bulk

Sound Card: ASUS Xonar DX 7.1 Channels PCI Express x1 Interface Sound Card

Graphics card: ASUS ENGTX260GL+/2DI/896M GeForce GTX 260 896MB 448-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

i'm hoping that when i put these thing together it'll work like i hope they would, also, im not sure what wattage of a power supply i am going to get, Any suggestions? im going to shop a newegg, if their is a cheaper place drop a link?

Pretty good build. Imo, get a ATI 58xx insted of the old nVidia cards. Then try and get a good P55 board with CrossFire (8x/8x NOT 8x/4x). That case is a bit on the small side imo. Try and get a HAF922. Why the sound card?

At any rate, for a system like this, I recommend a Corsair 650TX, and if you plan to SLI/CrossFire, get a 750TX.
