Hey everyone

I've been waiting for the 300 series to be released then today i see someone asking for benchmarks for a GTX480?!?!?!

Did nvidia skip the 300 series release or what?

I don't know if Im behind or what. I've seen gtx340's in OEM builds. Is that what the 300 series is?? Just for OEM

Please end this non sense :D  lol

GTX3xx series are meant to be for new older tech (yes, that's right) and the new tech (Fermi) is the GTX4xx series.

Now, that might change in the near future as well, but for now, it is that way :p

Cheers!

Spot on. The 300 series are re-branded 200's for OEM release only. The GF100 (Fermi) GPU's will be the 400-series.
