i have asus motherboard http://uk.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=F8NXs2xIQloc5nrb&t... <---- this one
and was wondering what the most ideal solution cooling wise would be, i got a 5870 on the motherboard in the first pcie slot apart from that no limitation on size, only really want the extra cooling to let amd overdrive have more of a free reign as atm im only getting up to about 3.6 before it starts not liking the temps and has crashed when ive overclocked it myself beyond. so a little more breathing space for amd overdrive and hopefully a few more mhz on the clocks: ) , this is my aim.
ty i advance and as usual sorry if this is a double post, i couldnt find it anywhere or i wouldnt have thrust my poorly written question upon u all.
hopeful advanced thanks: P

Hyper 212+ is pretty good and should give you plenty of extra thermal headroom to OC with.

+1 for the Hyper 212+.. Its the most efficient cooling you can get on a budget.. If you need extra bling you may take a look at the thermaltake spin Q-VT (with reduced performance though)..

does anyone know if the second fan comes with the cooler or requires another purchase?

The cooler only comes with one fan, if you want a second to do a push pull setup you will need to buy another
