It's compatible (all newer PSUs should be compatible). It's a good PSU in that price range, but it really is old technology (I bought one several years ago) and not that efficient. If you can afford it, the Corsair CMPSU-400CX (80 PLUS Certified) would be a better buy.

lol im upgrading from a 250 watt psu :lol: i think 430 watts is ok because i just want to power a radeon 4770 and a duel core amd athlon 4800 + processor. i dont think im going to overclock it any im just going to really play games on low res even tho it can support 1900 by 1200 becuase i dont like hih res idk why. but i just liked to know that it is compatible with my system thank you !!!!! :bounce:

wo wo wait a minute lol ok so i dont really know about the whole 12 volt rail can someone plz explain what i need and what a 12 volt rail is, i know this is probly like the worst case of noob that youve ever seen but i need to know what i need to power my comp with that suggested corsair 400 watt psu. this is really confusing to me so help is very apreciated

hey this might be a rookie question but what are artifacts because when ever i play games for maybe 1 and a half hours little squares show up when guns are firing or there are green dots in the background
