Welcome, Newcomer! The first step that is recommended is to adjust your BIOS. Set your DRAM voltage, frequency (MHz), and timing (CL/CAS) to what is displayed on the sticker on the side of your RAM modules, or on the packaging the RAM came in.

By the way, posting your complete system information never hurts.

DDR2-800 5-5-5-18-2T @ 1.8v

BIOS:
DRAM Frequency -> DDR2-800MHz
DRAM Voltage -> 1.8v
DRAM Timing Control {enter}
-> 5-5-5-18
-- optional if it's still unstable increase by ~+0.1V over auto
NB Voltage -> 1.2~1.26v

Use only if above is unstable:
-- optional if it's still unstable.
DRAM Read Training -> Disabled
Mem OC Charger -> Enabled

thank you for the quick reply and help

I tried it at 5-5-5-18-2t @1.8v and was crashing in windows/playing games internet ect incressed the voltage to 2.0 and run 3 passes so far of memtest no errors.

maybe the NB needs 1.26v

but if it still crashes will try Dram reading training and mem oc charger settings also
and post results..

thanks for the help..bit of a noob posting on here hehe :)
