Motherboards and memory

I have purchased an i5 760 chiop to go in the asus p7p55 ws mother board i have recieved a ddr3 memory 6gb ram pack but i think its the worng one the model code for it is F3-12800cl9t-6gbnq when looking up its compatibility with the motherboard it is compatible however the packaging says only i7 does this mean that my i5 will not recognise or be compatible? and if not can you recommend one that would be at 6gb gskill preferrebly

I would just purchase another single stick to match the three sticks you already have, unless you can return them with no restocking fee. You need to use 2 or 4 sticks for your p55 board.
