\'Asus audio center has encountered a problem (in xp) and needs to close.\' I can't even get the program to open. I have tried removing every bit of sound-related software in the computer. The only thing I can\'t do is to remove physically the onboard soundcard, though I have disabled it with the device manager. The system BIOS does not offer the removal option in the \'system peripherals\' page. The installed Asus Xonar DGX card produces beautiful sound through the speakers, but I have no access to the control center and the headphone option. Do you have any ideas? In advance, many thanks.
