My Dell Dimension is a 2006 model, the current E520 that dell sell's is different from mine. How can I find my computer's PSU? Will it be compatible with a Geforce 8400 graphics card?

Currently I'm using my desktop's integrated card. My CPU is an Intel Core 2 Duo 1.86ghz. With 3gb ram. I have directx 9 with a g965 integrated card. pc wizard says I have Pci bus and pci express.

Can I use a geforce 8400 GS 512MB 64-bit GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card? It is made by MSI and needs directx10? and OPen GL 2.0.

here is a link to all the specs:

If you haven't bought the card yet... I suggest you get the HD 4350 instead, it's three tiers higher than the 8400GS, has very low power consumption, is passive just like the GeForce 8400GS. $34.99, right now at $14.99, deal ends today.

What kind of games will you be playing on your computer? You can go as high as the ATI HD4670 on the Dell Dimension E520 (305w PSU) and the performance will be huge from the 8400GS or HD 4350. It's worth the extra money.
